Keith Sharp String Orchestra

Born in 1962 in Yeppoon, Queensland, Keith grew up in a musical family before pursuing Viola Performance at Queensland Conservatorium, followed by a Diploma of Education. Since 1985, he has taught string programs in inner-north Brisbane, focusing on ensemble and group tuition. He enjoys writing imaginative and appealing pieces for string students, many of which are now performed around the world through Alfred Publishing.

Keith co-authored the popular ‘Encore on Strings – Music Maestros’ method series with his wife Natalie. With a companion app, large and colourful aesthetics, and near limitless adaptability, this series has become one of the most popular for young Australian string players.
