In-Home Trials:

Please read and agree to the terms and conditions below.

I agree that any item(s) taken on trial are entrusted to my safekeeping and responsibility.

I agree that the contract term is 3 days (from time of receipt/possession of goods), unless agreed otherwise, in writing.

I understand that my credit card / bank account will be securely stored Simply for Strings payments provider, Pinch Payments. This will allow Simply for Strings to debit my account in the event that the items on trial are not returned by the due date and Simply for Strings are unable to contact me in a timely manner.

I understand that a deposit of 20% of the total value of the trial products is to be taken up-front. This deposit is refundable should I decide not to go ahead with a purchase.

I understand that a $30 Approval Shipping Fee will be charged to cover shipping costs and packaging from Simply for Strings to my best postal address, transit insurance and return shipping if required.

The item(s) will be purchased at the price listed on the associated invoice or returned in original, saleable condition to Simply for Strings on or before close of business on the final day of the contract date.

The trialled instrument(s) and/or bow(s) are insured for physical loss and physical damage subject to the following exclusions.

Insurance does not cover:
i) exposure to aridity, humidity, moisture, extreme light or extremes of temperature unless the loss arises as a direct consequence of an event not excluded under this insurance,

ii) damage caused misuse or neglect, including but not limited to bridge damage, varnish damage and cracks.

iii) breakage of strings

iv) theft or disappearance of the property from any vehicle when such vehicle is left unattended unless the property is kept in a locked boot or, if the vehicle does not have a boot, the property to be kept in locked vehicle and not in view. This exclusion shall not apply where loss occurs whilst the equipment is being loaded or unloaded from a vehicle.

I accept that the cost of the instrument/bow is my responsibility should loss or damage result while in my possession for the duration of this contract.

In the case of an overdue return, a$100 late fee will be charged to your nominated credit card or bank account, unless otherwise negotiated.

Failure to return the unpaid item(s) in a timely manner may result in a criminal prosecution and liability for expenses incurred by Simply for Strings in the recovery of the unpaid item(s).



Instrument Rentals:

Please read and agree to the terms and conditions below.

The renter (you) agrees to hire the instrument for a minimum period of three (3) months with one (1) month’s payment up-front. We also require a security deposit of one (1) month's rental fee which is refundable upon safe return of the instrument to Simply for Strings.

The renter agrees to having the monthly payments debited from their credit card or bank account on the same day of each month, until the rental instrument is returned.

Your credit card / bank account will be securely stored with our payments provider, Pinch Payments. This will allow us to debit your account each month, and an email will automatically be sent to you informing you of each payment. There is a small payments processing fee (2.5% + .30c for credit card) added to each payment to cover the cost of this automated system.

The renter agrees to notify Simply for Strings of any updated credit card or bank account details within 30 days of change. The renter must return the instrument within 24 hours if SFS is not notified of these changes.

If rental payment is not received within 7 days after it’s due, a $5.00 penalty may be charged per week for every week that the account is delinquent.

Simply for Strings can declare a renter to be in default if;

i) The renter fails to pay scheduled rental payments and late charges within 7 days of the scheduled payment.

ii) The renter fails to return the instrument within 30 days of unsuccessful payment.

iii) The renter provides misleading or inaccurate information on the agreement.

iv) Any other circumstances that Simply for Strings feels endangers the safety of the instrument.

If Simply for Strings declares the renter to be in default of this agreement, the renter must return the instrument within 24 hours or it will be subject to repossession.

The renter agrees to insure the instrument OR to cover the cost of the instrument against loss or damage and to pay Simply for Strings either the market value or full cost of repairs.

If the renter has taken out a Monthly Rental Protection, Simply for Strings will cover the cost of damage up to 75%. Rental protection is not applicable on string or bow breakages.

All repairs must be carried out by the Simply for Strings workshop.

Simply for Strings is not liable for any string breakages or bow damage while it is out on rental.
